Kristel Tijsterman

Kristel studied tax law and business law in Groningen. Before joining Atlas in 2012, she worked with Loyens & Loeff in Amsterdam from 2005 until 2012. Kristel was appointed partner in December 2016.

Kristel advices corporate clients and entrepreneurs on their day to day tax affairs, reorganisations, (cross border) mergers and acquisitions and real estate investments. She has a strong emphasis on Dutch corporate taxation and the international tax aspects (tax treaties / EU Directives) her clients are dealing with. In addition, she focuses on advising non-profit organisations and the public sector on their tax position. 

Kristel regularly publishes articles and is a co-writer with the NDFR.
