Peter Karman
Of-Counsel
Peter studied Tax Law at Tilburg University and has successively worked for a large Legal/Tax consultancy firm and two Big Four firms. After having worked in the general tax practice, Peter has specialized in (inter)national wage and income tax, social security and tax aspects of pensions since 2004.
He advises companies and employees on a wide range of payroll tax issues such as share rewards, the DBA Act and the work-related expenses scheme, but also on national and international income tax, employee postings and the design and development of a Tax Control Framework for payroll taxes. He also assists companies with payroll tax audits and discussions with the tax authorities on payroll and income tax issues and as of-counsel he is part op the Atlas M&A team.
Peter has provided a course for the NOB for a number of years, final levy for payroll tax specialists and is regularly involved in internal and external training and courses.
